The concept is simple: we grab our horns, get in the car, and crash somebody’s concert. So far, nobody’s turned us down. They usually even let us on stage!

Of course, most of the concerts we show up to happen to be friends of ours. So if you want to know what it’s like to be a Brass Brother, we’ll take you behind the scenes to meet some of the coolest musicians in Southern California, hear a bit about what they’re working on, and maybe even get a food review in the process.

The Converse Shoe Commercial

we were asked to be in a commercial for a limited-edition Converse Chuck Taylor shoe by legendary designer Shane Gonzales. Two back-to-back scenes, one with Mike on trumpet, and one with Brass Brothers collaborator Stephen Foster on drums. They also took some press photos, you can see them here. Last we checked, the shoes are going for $2,300 in the collectors’ market. We’re keeping our pairs, though!
